William Leroy Harris died Jan. 20, 2012, athis residence. Riverwood Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

    Mr. Harris was born in Mississippi to Thurman Leroy Harris and NoraElaine Callendar Smith.

    He worked offshore, was of the Baptist faith and a veteran of theNavy.

    Preceding him in death were his parents.

    Survivors are his son, William T. Harris and wife Ashley; daughter,Kim Kennedy and her husband Shalane; and grandchildren, HoustonClark Harris and Heidi Claire Harris.
