Services for Gloria Ann “Bo” Williams Peartree Byrd, ofBrookhaven, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, atFriendship Missionary Baptist Church in Brookhaven with burial inSt. Luke Church Cemetery in McCall Creek. Williams Mortuary is incharge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 2 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home,with family hour from 6 until 7 p.m.

Mrs. Byrd, 54, died Oct. 20, 2007, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Franklin County on Oct. 6, 1953, to WilsonWilliams and Mary Williams.

She was retired. She was a member of Pleasant Grove BaptistChurch in Summit.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Ossie”Bigun” Byrd; her son. Tony Terell Peartree; her stepdaughters,Gloria Weathersby, Wyline Byrd and Josephine Winston; her sister,Willie Mae Kelly; and her brother, Al Jessie Williams.

Survivors are her son, Guy Williams, of Brookhaven; herstepsons, E.C. Byrd, of Brookhaven, Wayne Cooper, of Monticello,and Corey Green, of Los Angeles, Calif.; her daughter, PhylissPeartree, of Brookhaven; her stepdaughters, Mary Jean Henderson andMattie Byrd, both of Brookhaven, and Ernestine Burks, of Meadville;her brothers, James Williams, of Amite, La., Jimmie Williams, ofChicago, Ill., and Larry Williams, of Brookhaven; her sisters,Marilyn Henry, of Brookhaven, and Katie Mae Young, of Baton Rouge,La.; her 23 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, otherrelatives and friends.
