Funeral services for Emery Rose Smith, the infant daughter ofSawyer and Kayla Smith, of Brookhaven, were 9 a.m. on Saturday,Oct. 9, at Wellman Baptist Church Cemetery in Bogue Chitto.Riverwood Family Funeral Service was in charge ofarrangements.

The infant died on Oct. 6, 2010, at the University of MississippiMedical Center in Jackson. She was born on Oct. 6, 2010.

Survivors are her parents; her grandparents, Donald Earl and DebbieSmith and Billy and Melissa Thomas, all of Brookhaven; hergreat-grandparents, Irene S. Meredith, Mr. and Mrs. Houston Acy,and Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Thomas, all of Brookhaven; Mr. and Mrs.Roger Hart, of Bogue Chitto, and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Harrell, ofPuckett; her aunt, Hannah Smith, of Brookhaven; her uncles, CoryFunk, of Brookhaven, and Mr. and Mrs. Justin Whatley, of NorthCarolina; and her cousin, Kendall Whatley, of North Carolina.
