Services for Bertha A. Bradford of Ferriday, La., are 10 a.m.Monday, March 18, at Sevier Memorial United Methodist Church inFerriday. Graveside services are 2 p.m. Monday, March 18, atHoskins Cemetery in Lincoln County.

Visitation is Sunday, March 17, from 5-8 p.m. at Comer FuneralHome in Ferriday.

Mrs. Bradford, 80, died Friday, March 15, 2002, in Alexandria,La. She was born in Brookhaven on Dec. 7, 1921, to the late OscarE. and Faye Hoskins Adams.

She was a retired AT&T chief operator. She was a member ofSevier Memorial United Methodist Church. She retired in 1976.

Preceding her in death were her parents and brothers, BenCharles Adams, Vercie Brooks Adams and O. E. Adams Jr.

Survivors are her husband, Ralph Bradford of Ferriday;stepdaughters, Kathie Williams of Jonesville, La., and TrudydeGruiter of Hattiesburg; brothers, Luther Roy Adams and Z. P.”Bunks” Adams of Brookhaven; five grandchildren; sixgreat-grandchildren; and four nieces.
