Services for Frank Roy Davis of Brookhaven are 3 p.m., Thursday,April 18, at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home Chapel in Ocean Springswith burial in Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs.

Visitation is today from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Davis, 82, died April 15, 2002, in Jackson. He was born inFontainebleau, Ocean Springs, on May 20, 1919, to Philip LowellDavis Sr. and Carrie Louise Richter Davis. He was a 1938 graduateof Ocean Springs High School and attended Perkinston CommunityCollege.

He was employed at Keesler Air Force Base for 35 years, retiringin 1980. He served in England and France during WWII as a TechnicalSgt. of the 807th Army Air Force Engineer Squadron, Eighth AirForce Ground Forces. Upon discharge from the Air Force, he trainedas an aircraft mechanic at the Spartan School of Aeronautics,Tulsa, Okla.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his brother, PhilipLowell Davis Jr.

Survivors are his wife of 61 years, Elsie Lucille Carter Davis;his daughters, Rebecca Gwendolyn and husband Richard Wayne Nationsof Brookhaven and Vivian Ellen Davis of Vancouver, Wash.; hisbrother, Charles “Duke” Davis of Ocean Springs; his sisters, CarrieLouise Perry and Tillie Elise Roberts, both of Ocean Springs; andtwo step-grandsons.
