Funeral services for Helen Marie FairmanKing, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 16, at DamascusM.B. Church, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. Williams Mortuaryis in charge of arrangements.

    Visitation is Sunday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mrs. King, 62, died Jan. 11, 2012, at her home. She was born onJune 19, 1949, to Arthur Ray Fairman and Marie Dixon FairmanDukes.

    She was disabled and a member of Damascus M.B. Church.

    Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, James King;sister, Hazel Fairman; and brother, Daniel Fairman.

    Survivors are her daughter, Melinda Dixon and husband, Marvin, ofBogue Chitto; sons, Derrick King and wife, Jackie, of Brookhaven,Fred King of Lansing, Mich., Charles King and wife, Carrie, ofLansing, Mich., and Julius King, of Fort Worth, Texas; eightgrandchildren, Derrick Coleman, Charles Cook, Bianca King, KiaraDixon, Brandon King, Caleb King, Devonta King and Julius King Jr.;three great-grandchildren; aunts, Lucresia Newton and husband,Charles, of Brookhaven, and Eadis Beasley, of Brookhaven; uncles,Robert Earl Dixon and wife, Artoria, of Brookhaven, and LonnieDixon, of Brookhaven; great-uncle, Willie Humphries and wife, AllieMae, of Brookhaven; and many nieces, nephews and otherrelatives.
