Funeral services for Katherine Herring Davis, of McCall Creek,were 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5, at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel,with burial in Wright’s Chapel Cemetery in Franklin County.

Mrs. Davis, 91, died April 3, 2011, at Meadville Convalescent Home.She was born in Franklin Co. Jan. 6, 1920 to Edgar Davis Herringand Sallie Louise Cupit Herring.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Meadville MethodistChurch.

Preceding her in death were parents.

Survivors are her husband, Andrew Tyson Davis, of McCall Creek; herdaughters, Patricia Margueritte Davis Jones and husband, Larry, ofMcCall Creek; Carolyn Lynelle Davis Lindsey and husband, Rick, ofTuscaloosa, Ala.; and Vanalee Katherine Davis Hurst and husband,Gary, of McCall Creek; her grandchildren, Oliver Tyson Jones, CoryMatthew Jones, Sallie Katherine Hurst, Leigh Elizabeth Hurst andDiana Katherine Lindsey; her great-grandchildren, Hannah KatherineJones and Zoe Katherine Hewlett. Also special by marriage and lovedby Mrs. Davis are Melanie Kay Smith Jones, Marty Marshall Jones,Dustin Hewlett, Charlotte and Jimmy Jones, Christy and BradThornton and Brad and Kristie Jones.
