Services for Daisy Irene Parkman Pace, of Brookhaven, are 10a.m. Monday, May 8, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Rose Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Pace, 98, died May 6, 2006 at Haven Hall Nursing Home. Shewas born in Brookhaven on July 6, 1907, to M.A. Parkman and EmilyCaroline Guess Parkman.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church ofBrookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, L.B. Pace;her daughter, Judith Pace, her brother, Si Parkman; and hersisters, Floy Holbrook, Sidney Beasley, Jewel West, Ann Wade, andInez Martin.

Survivors are her sons, John C. Pace and his wife, Shirley, orGreenwell Springs, La., and Joel Pace and his wife, Cathy, ofBrookhaven; her daughters, Jennifer Carlisle and her husband,Arthur, of Ocean Springs, and Jeannine Gaston and her husband S.M.,of Plano, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; andseveral nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Marvin Nesmith, Mike Pace, Billy Peevey,Boby Douglas, Terry Leary, and Arthur Carlisle.
