Services for Matthew Joseph Wayne Williams, of the Friendshipcommunity in Pike County, are 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, atFriendship Baptist Church in McComb with burial in Reeves Cemetery.Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the church andWednesday from 9 until 10 a.m. at the church.
Mr. Williams, 31, died Sept. 30, 2009, from injuries sustainedin an automobile and motorcycle accident in Phoenix, Ariz. He wasborn in Chula Vista, Calif., on Oct. 14, 1977, to Hugh LarryWilliams and Beverly Jane Moore.
At the time of his death, Mr. Williams was attending MotorcycleMechanics Institute in Phoenix. He will be remembered as a guy whowould do anything for anybody. He loved life and lived it to thefullest. He was a free spirit who enjoyed a good time. He was amember of Wellman Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, John HughWilliams, Buck Tibbs and Maxine Moore.
Survivors are his parents; his sons, Austin Wayne Williams andJeremiah Smith Williams; his stepmother, Jan Williams; his sisters,Riki Welch, Evette Whitmeyer, Jerri Fleming and Katie Hart; hisgrandmother, Ella Lanelle Williams; his two aunts; his threeuncles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
