Jonathan Clyde Hunt
Services for Jonathan Clyde Hunt, of McComb, are 2 p.m.Saturday, Dec. 26, at Amite River M.B. Association in Liberty withburial in Liberty M.B. Church Cemetery in Liberty. R.E. TylerFuneral Home in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Saturday from noon until 2 p.m. at theassociation.
Mr. Hunt, 35, died Dec. 19, 2009, in Ocean Springs. He was bornin McComb on Nov. 10, 1974, to Clyde Hunt and Dorothy FaustHunt.
He was a 1993 graduate of Amite County High School in Libertyand received an associate degree from Southwest MississippiCommunity College in auto mechanics and carpentry. Mr. Hunt was aself-employed carpenter.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and a sister, SharonDenise Hunt.
Survivors are his wife, Patricia Cook Hunt, of McComb; and hissisters, Chandra Hunt, of Bossier City, La., and Libby Smith, ofMissouri.
Alice Maxwell
Services for Alice Maxwell, of Oklahoma City, Okla., are 1 p.m.Thursday, Dec. 24, at Hopewell M.B. Church in Brookhaven withburial in the church cemetery. R.E. Tyler Funeral Home inBrookhaven is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Thursday from noon until 1 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Maxwell, 90, died Dec. 16, 2009, in Oklahoma City. She wasborn in Brookhaven on Aug. 19, 1919, to Andrew Foote and Annie MaeFoote.
She was a homemaker.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a husband, Thomas H.”T.H.” Maxwell Sr.; her three children, Edith, Jessie James andThomas Maxwell Jr.; her four brothers; her two sisters; and herthree grandchildren.
Survivors are her sons, Roosevelt Maxwell, of Oklahoma City, andLonnie Maxwell, of Brookhaven; her daughters, Ora Evans and LillieBryant, both of Brookhaven; her 25 grandchildren; her twostepgrandchildren; her 48 great-grandchildren; her fivestepgreat-grandchildren; and her 19 great-great-grandchildren.
