Services for Louise Herrington Barnett of New Hebron are 11a.m., Saturday, Sept. 14, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Cliburn Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Barnett, 88, died Sept. 11, 2002, at her daughter’s home inSilver Creek. She was born in Lawrence County on June 10, 1914, toWilliam and Emma Stevens Herrington.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Shalom Baptist Church.She enjoyed cooking and gardening.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, BennettBarnett; and her son, H. T. Barnett.

Survivors are her sons, Ausbin Barnett of New Hebron and PaulBarnett of Creole, La.; her daughters, Barbara Nations of Prentissand Betty King of Silver Creek; her brother, Clifton Herrington ofNew Hebron; her sisters, Agnes Martin and Ola Martin, both ofGulfport; and 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and fourgreat-great-grandchildren.
