Services for Farrah Furlow Watson of Tennessee Colony, Texas,were Monday, Sept. 3, at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel withburial in Athens City Cemetery.
Mrs. Watson, 22, died Aug. 31, 2001, of injuries sustained in anautomobile accident in Palestine, Texas. She was born in MorganCity, La., on May 23, 1979.
She had been a resident of Tennessee Colony for two and a halfyears. She formerly lived in Gladewater, where she graduated fromhigh school, was a cheerleader, and worked at Jackson Feed Store.She attended Trinity Valley Community College and was employed atthe Texas Department of Criminal Justice at the Coffield Unit inTennessee Colony.
Also killed in the accident were her husband, Keith Watson, andher stepdaughter, Kelsie Watson.
Survivors are her father and stepmother, Benton Furlow and BeckyVaughn Furlow of Brookhaven; her mother, Jan Williamson ofGladewater; her stepdaughter, Kourtney Watson of Athens, Texas; hersisters, Cappy Sumrall of Jackson, Tasha Givens of Brookhaven,Sha-Ree Hudson and Sha-Ron Dacus, both of Tennessee Colony; herbrothers, Chris Banks of Tyler, Texas, and Pete Furlow of Brandon;and her grandmother, Evelyn Williamson of Gladewater.
