“It was a tough game, playing in a tournament at their place,” said Enterprise coach Jill Nations. “We played hard and worked hard. East Marion pressured us on defense but we handled it. We made some big free throws at the end.”

Nations saw her team outscore East Marion 18-7 in the fourth quarter. The Jackets led 26-24 at halftime.

Audriaunna Howard’s 18 points paced the Lady Eagles.

The Enterprise boys were eliminated by Amite County last night. Amite County plays No. 2-seeded Wesson in Thursday’s semifinals, starting at 5:30.
