Funeral services for Julia Helon Johnson, of Wesson, are 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 22, at Zion Hill Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Services in Hazlehurst is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday from 12:30 until 2 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Johnson, 83, died Jan. 19, 2013, at her home.

She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Benjamin Hubert Johnson; son, Buddy Johnson; and granddaughter, Tammi Johnson.

Survivors are her sons, James A. Johnson and wife, Peggy, of Downsville, La., and David L. Johnson and wife, Windi, of Wesson; daughters, Debi Johnson Calhoun and husband, Phil, of Hoover, Ala., and Cindy Johnson Hall, of Wesson; sisters, Ruth McLendon, of Hazlehurst, and Anna Belle Elkins, of Wesson; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
