Services for Oteal Watson Dixon, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Friday, Nov. 11 at Macedonia M.B. Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 1 to 5 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

Mrs. Dixon, 78, died Nov. 6, 2005, at the University ofMississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was born on Oct. 17,1927, to Fred Watson and Cora Watson.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Macedonia M.B.Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers, FredWatson Jr., Frank Watson, Eugene Watson and Felo Watson; her sister, Eula McMorris; and a grandson, Marvin Durr.

Survivors are her husband, Lonnie B. Dixon Sr.; her sons, LonnieB. Dixon Jr. and his wife, Mary A. Dixon, Roy Lee Dixon and John L.Dixon, all of Brookhaven; her daughters, Ora Jackson and her husband, Dr. Isaac Jackson, of Canton, and Frances Durr and her husband, the Rev. Jerry Durr, of Brookhaven; her sisters, Lenette Seastrong, of Bly, Ore., and Celastine Markham, Arzetta Markham andMyra Caldwell, all of Los Angeles; 11 grandchildren; 13great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
