Services for Onnie Tucker Adams Jr. of Meadville were 11 a.m.Saturday, July 14, at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with burial inProvidence Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Adams, 74, died Thursday, July 12, 2001, at his residence.He was born in Franklin County on Sept. 3, 1926, to the late OnnieTucker Sr. and Sallie Anders Adams.

He was a retired auto parts specialist. He was a member ofMeadville Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He was alsoa deacon at Hopewell Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran ofWorld War II.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother and twosisters.

Survivors are his niece, Carolyn Meaders, and a great-niece,Stephanie Meaders, both of Atlanta.
