Graveside services for Steven Lauren Morris of The Colony,Texas, are 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 12, at Easthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday from 5-9 p.m. at Harrigill Funeral Home.There will be no visitation on Sunday.

Mr. Morris, 45, died Jan. 8, 2003, at Trinity Hospital inCarrollton, Texas. He was born in Prentiss on March 18, 1957, toRobert S. Morris and Mary Lee “Spebe” Morris.

He was a self-employed mortgage loan broker. He was a member ofthe Methodist faith.

Preceding him in death was his mother.

Survivors are his wife, Katherina Schlier Morris of The Colony;his father, Robert S. “Bob” Morris of Brookhaven; his stepmother,Ann Morris of Brookhaven; his daughter, Lauren Brooke Morris of TheColony; his stepdaughter, Nicole Kelley of The Colony; his brother,John Robert Morris of West Monroe, La.; his sister-in-law, PennyHall Morris of West Monroe; his stepbrothers, Alan Ainsworth ofBrookhaven and Mark Ainsworth of Byram; his sister, Susan MorrisButler of Brookhaven; his stepsisters, Brenda Parent of Amite, La.,and Lisa Lott of Hattiesburg; his nephew, Josh Robert Morris ofWest Monroe; and his nieces, Julie Annette Morris of West Monroeand Angie Butler Trippe of Brookhaven.
