Man injured in shooting at Zetus home

A Brookhaven man was hospitalized Thursday night with a gunshotwound following a domestic dispute, local authorities said.
Brookhaven Police Chief Pap Henderson said Timothy Leggett, 25,was shot in the leg at his residence at 794 Zetus Road. He saidLeggett had been arguing with his sister when he was shot.
“It was a domestic argument between he and his sister,” saidHenderson, adding that statements indicated her boyfriend was theshooter in the incident.
Henderson said police know the identity of the man but are notreleasing his name. He said a warrant has been issued and theincident is still under investigation.
Henderson said officers responded to the incident just before 10p.m. Thursday at Leggett’s home, which is located just behindBenny’s Entertainment on Zetus Road.
Leggett was taken to King’s Daughters Medical Center byambulance, where hospital officials say he was stabilized and thentransported to Southwest Mississippi Medical Center. His conditionwas not immediately available.
