Services for Doris Claudette McLeod of Texarkana, Ark., are 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, at Apostolic Lighthouse, 1901 Dudley, Texarkana, Ark. The Rev. Wayne Bellew will officiate. Visitation is Friday from 6 until 10 p.m. at the church. Texarkana Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Graveside services are 2 p.m. on Sunday at Riverwood Memorial Park in Brookhaven.

Mrs. McLeod, 70, died Feb. 18, 2013 at her son’s home in Texarkana, Ark. She was born in Lumberton on March 27, 1942.

She was a member of Apostolic Lighthouse and was a retired housekeeping supervisor.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and Ronnie Thornhill of Brookhaven, and Daphne and Matt Walker of Cartersville, Ga.; one son and daughter-in-law, Darron and Mary McLeod of Texarkana, Ark.; her mother, Mary Ella Dearman of Brookhaven; one sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Glen McLeod of Quitman; one special cousin, Roy Dearman of Columbia; four grandchildren, DaRon Thornhill, Shannon Thornhill, Whitney Jones and Colton Walker; and one great-grandchild, Karlie Jones.
