Services for Alonzo “Lonnie” Dunhurst, of Ruth, were 2 p.m.Sunday, July 2, at Alvary United Pentacostal Church with burial inEnon Cemetery in Walthall County. Hartman Funeral Home is in chargeof arrangements.
Mr. Dunhurst, 52, died June 30, 2006, at his home. He was bornin Picayune on August 21, 1953, to William Dunhurst and EmmaRussell Dunhurst.
He was a retired truck driver. He was a member of Alvary UnitedPentacostal Church. He was also a veteran of the United StatesArmy.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his grandson, JoeRutland.
Survivors are his wife, Evon Dunhurst; his stepsons, WindellRonnie Rutland, Joe Rutland, Thomas Rutland, all of Jayess, BraxtonRutland, of Baldwyn, and John Rutland, of Ruth; his stepdaughters,Birdie Temple, Jenette Perry, both of McComb, Glenda Mulberry, ofClinton, and Bonnie Philips, of Tylertown; his stepgrandsons, ScottPhilips, Devin Rutland, Kevin Rutland, Thomas Rutland, MatthewRutland, Tommy Rutland, Dale Rutland, Thomas Rutland, Larry Rutlandand Johnathon Rutland; his stepgranddaughters, Sandra, Felicia,Rhonda, Virginia, Pam, Layle, Marybeth, Angie, Wanda, Misty, Sonya,Tammy, Lisa, Donna, Nicole, Tiffany, Natash, Laronda, Lanita,Cassey, and Crystal Dale; and a host of great-grandchildren.
