Services for Ora N. May Newman, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Saturday, March 5 at Friendship M.B. Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 7 p.m. with family hourfrom 6-7 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mrs. Newman, 82, died Feb. 27, 2005, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on Feb. 22, 1923, to JackMay and Drusilla May.

She was retired. She was a member of Macedonia M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, GarbyNewman.

Survivors are her devoted cousin and friend, Alice CraigRoberts, of Brookhaven; her stepson, Ricky Newman, of Brookhaven;her stepdaughter, Margaret Bass, of Brookhaven; and other relativesand friends.
