Services for Beulah Martin Smith of Jackson are 11 a.m.,Wednesday, Feb. 27, at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home with burialin Lakewood Memorial Park.

Visitation is today from 4-7 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m.until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith, 84, died Feb. 24, 2002, at her residence. She was anative of McComb.

She was an employee of Hemphill Drug Store for 25 years, whereshe managed the soda fountain. She was a member of TangiaphoahBaptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Fannie and ErastusMartin; her brother, James Patch Martin; her sister, Hazel MartinFleming; and her husband, Elijah Stephens Smith.

Survivors are her daughters, Lavada DuPlain of Biloxi; EdwinaShirley of Clinton, Mendy Mayfield of Pascagoula, and Dorma Wigginof Tuscaloosa, Ala.; her son, Stephen Smith of Jackson; herbrother, Robert C. Martin of Brookhaven; and 12 grandchildren, 17great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
