Services for Garland Crosby of Bogue Chitto are 2 p.m. Sunday,Aug. 25, at Calvary Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Aug. 25, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. atBrookhaven Funeral Home.

Mr. Crosby, 61, died Aug. 23, 2002, at his residence. He wasborn in Bogue Chitto on Feb. 20, 1941, to the late Cullen C. andJulia Mae Smith Crosby.

He was a tool and die mechanic who worked for FountainConstruction. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Donald Crosby;and sisters, Oudia Faye Strait and Barbara Leggett Moak.

Survivors are his wife, Shirley Tedder Crosby of Bogue Chitto;sons and daughters-in-law, Derek and Rebecca Crosby of Brookhavenand Donald and Teresa Crosby of Bogue Chitto; daughters andson-in-law, Amy and Brad Cupit and Karen Crosby, all of Brookhaven;brother, Clifton Crosby of Bogue Chitto; sisters, Patsy Roberts ofBogue Chitto and Shirley Grice of Laurel; and six grandchildren,Logan, Bretton Connor and Colby Crosby, Kyle Cupit and Kara BethCrosby.
