Services for Leola Doss Dickey, of Fayette, are 11 a.m.Saturday, Feb. 26 at Hickory Black United Methodist Church withburial in the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge ofarrangements.
Visitation is Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
Mrs. Dickey, 57, died Feb. 22, 2005, at Natchez CommunityHospital. She was born in Claiborne County on May 21, 1947, to EvanDoss Sr. and Letha Jackson Doss.
She was a graduate of Liddell High School in Fayette, AlcornState University and Hinds Community College in Utica. She was aretired educator. She was a member of Shiloh First Baptist Churchin Fayette.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her uncle and aunt,Rufus and Secnobia Davis; two sisters, Beulah Newton and SecnobiaDoss; a son, Paul Anderson; her father-in-law, Emanuel Dickey Sr.;and her brother-in-law, Emanuel Dickey Jr.
Survivors are her husband, John E. Dickey, of Fayette; herdaughter, Kimberly Sayles and her husband, James, of Jackson; herson, Harry Anderson and his wife, Lisa, of Memphis, Tenn.; twosisters, Eva Courtney, of Greenville, and Patricia Franklin, of OakPark, Ill.; five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews,godchildren, other relatives and friends.
