Services for Guynell Pickett, of Meadville, will be held at 11a.m. on Thursday, March 27, at East Roxie Church of Christ in Roxiewith burial in Hidgeon Cemetery in Oldenburg. Tyler Funeral Home isin charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday from noon until 5 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Ms. Pickett, 64, died March 20, 2008, at Meadville Nursing Home.She was born in Franklin County on June 5, 1943, to Johnny Pickettand Lillie Mae Covington Pickett.

She attended Alcorn State University for two years. She wasformerly a postal clerk in Los Angeles, Calif. She was a member ofEast Roxie Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her brothers, Arthur and Otis Pickett, both ofMeadville, Oliver Pickett, of Chicago, Ill,, and Oscar Pickett, ofNew Orleans, La.
