Paul Hunter Chadwick
Services for Paul Hunter Chadwick, of Jayess, were 10 a.m.Tuesday, July 29, at Sauls Valley Baptist Church in Jayess withburial in the church cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home was in charge ofarrangements.
Mr. Chadwick, 89, died July 27, 2008, at his residence. He wasborn in Lawrence County on Oct. 27, 1918, to Luther J. Chadwick andVelma Summers Chadwick.
He was a retired glasscutter and a farmer. He served in the U.S.Army during World War II.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother and his twosisters.
Survivors are his wife, Bettie Ross Chadwick; his sons, FloydWomble, of Las Vegas, Raymond Womble, of New Orleans, FreddieWomble, of Mobile, Ala., Bill John Womble, of Jayess, CharlesChadwick, of Hattiesburg, Paul Atwell Chadwick, of Bastrop, La.;his daughters, Julie Wagner, of Florence, Mary Elizabeth Boyd, ofJayess, Vivian Pittman, of Hattiesburg; a brother, Luther Chadwick,of Monroe, La.; his 16 grandchildren; and his 13great-grandchildren.
Richard ‘Ricky’ Dean Diamond
Services for Richard “Ricky” Dean Diamond, of Brookhaven, are 2p.m. Wednesday, July 30, at Clear Branch Baptist Church inBrookhaven with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mr. Diamond, 52, died July 28, 2008, at the University ofMississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born on April 2,1956, to Jim Diamond and Virgie Ruth Lofton Diamond.
He was a self-employed logger. He was a member of Clear BranchBaptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors are a son, Chris Diamond and wife, Scottie; hisbrothers, Jimmy Diamond and wife, Sandra, and Ronnie Diamond andwife, Doris; a sister, Carolyn Diamond Day and husband, Jack; andhis two grandchildren, Cooper Barlow and Conner Diamond.
