Services for Douglas “Pop” Reinig of Brookhaven are 1 p.m.Monday, April 15, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inMacedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Reinig, 67, died April 12, 2002, at his residence. He wasborn in Indiana on May 27, 1934, to Victor and Catherine TraxlerReinig.

He was a truck driver. He was a member of Macedonia BaptistChurch.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his son, Dennis Reinig;and two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors are his wife, Carole Stewart Reinig of Brookhaven; hissons, Steve Reinig, Robert Reinig, James Reinig, Gary Reinig,Christopher Reinig and Charles Reinig, all of Indiana; hisdaughters, Vicki Reddig, Theresa Day and Theresa Anderson, all ofIndiana; his brothers, Albert Reinig and Wayne Reinig, both ofIndiana, and Thomas Reinig of North Carolina; his sisters, DorothyMasters and Margarett Kessell, both of Indiana; 21 grandchildrenand seven great-grandchildren; and special friends Mark and BeckyCarithers and Marka and Carrie Carithers.
