Services for Fannie Pitts of Mendenhall are 1 p.m., Wednesday,Nov. 22, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in New HopeBaptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Pitts, 88, died Nov. 20, 2000, at Simpson General Hospital.She was born in Meadville on May 3, 1912, to Hosie and Emma KingBullock.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husbands,Sullivan Partin and Homer Pitts.

Survivors are her sons, J. W. Partin of Jayess and James Partinof Gulfport; her daughters, Patsy Peterson of Prescott Valley,Ariz., and Eloise Helm of San Francisco, Calif.; her sister, DorisBrashears of Denham Springs, La.; and a number of grandchildren,great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Joyce Cain Ratcliff

Services for Joyce Cain Ratcliff of Natchez were 11 a.m.,Wednesday, Nov. 22, at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with burial inPleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Lincoln County.

Mrs. Ratcliff, 68, died Nov. 20, 2000, at her residence. She wasborn in Lincoln County on Nov. 28, 1931, to Fendrick and WilmaSmith Cain.

She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her brother, ZackCain.

Survivors are her husband, A. M. Ratcliff Sr. of Natchez; herson, Andrew “Andy” M. Ratcliff of Baton Rouge; and onegrandson.

Jack Wactor

Services for Jack Wactor of Bogue Chitto were 11 a.m.,Wednesday, Nov. 22, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inBogue Chitto Cemetery.

Mr. Wactor, 74, died Nov. 20, 2000, of heart failure at hisresidence. He was born in Bogue Chitto on Dec. 26, 1925, to Sam L.Wactor and Sadie Mae Smith Wactor.

He was a retired permit agent for Teledyne Expiration Company.He was a member of Bogue Chitto Baptist Church. He was a Navyveteran of WWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Lena Kelly Wactor of Bogue Chitto; hisson, Jack Lee Wactor of Bogue Chitto; his daughters, Amy Joy Hartand Courtney Swanson, both of Bogue Chitto; his sisters, MildredWactor and Hilda Conerly, both of Jackson; and two grandchildrenand one great-grandchild.
