Services Virgie O. Tibbs, of Brookhaven, were 11 a.m. Thursday,Feb. 5, at Community Funeral Services with burial at 1 p.m. at theNatchez City Cemetery.

Mrs. Tibbs, 75, died on Feb. 2, 2009, at her residence. She wasborn in Lincoln County on Nov. 27, 1933, to T.J. Oliver and MaryLofton Oliver.

She was a dietician for Brook Manor Living Center. She was amember of New Prospect Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Milton L.Tibbs; a son, Tony Tibbs; one brother and a sister.

Survivors include her son, Milton Tibbs; her daughters, SandraCovington, Patricia Stroud and Betty Tibbs; her brother James K.Oliver; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
