Services for John Gordon “Buster” Hickman, of Brookhaven, are 3p.m. Friday, May 18, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapelwith burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Hickman, 57, died May 15, 2007, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born on Dec. 5, 1949, to John V. Hickman and FloyeJones McClelland.

He had been employed with the Brookhaven Police Department,Mississippi Highway Patrol and the forestry commission. He was amember of Easthaven Baptist Church and of the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his fathers, John V. Hickman andBernard McClelland.

Survivors are his son, Dylan Hickman; his daughters, Sherry Keeton,and Beth Johnson and husband J.R.; his sisters, Ann Van Norman andhusband Claude, and Lucye M. Moore; and his grandchildren, KasiJohnson, Dustin Johnson, Olivia Boyte and Cam Bardwell.
