Services for Beth Greer, of Bogue Chitto, are 2 p.m. Friday,Oct. 30, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto withburial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. at Brookhaven FuneralHome on Natchez Drive and Friday from 1 until 2 p.m. at thechurch.

Mrs. Greer, 81, died Oct. 28, 2009, at Country Brook LivingCenter in Brookhaven. She was born in Ruth on Sept. 16, 1928, toWillard Greer and Zelda Rutland Greer.

She served numerous churches in Alabama, Mississippi andLouisiana along with her husband, the late Rev. N.F. Greer. Mrs.Greer was a former kindergarten teacher as well. She was also amember of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband of 57years, the Rev. N.F. Greer.

Survivors are a son, Mark Greer, of Spanish Fort, Ala.; adaughter, Kim Greer, of Bogue Chitto; her sisters, Jan Godbold andPat Ebey, both of Bogue Chitto; her two grandchildren, GraysonMontgomery Greer and Garett Thomas Greer; and numerous nieces andnephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pleasant HillBaptist Church Building Fund.
