Ewing Sandifer III and Sandra Sandifer, both of Wesson, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Stacy Lynn Sandifer, to Rodney Douglas Bond Jr. of Summit.

He is the son of Rodney and Dianne Bond of Osyka.

She is the granddaughter of Ovia “Doodle” Sandifer, the late Ewing “Bob” Sandifer Jr. and the late Hugh and Vivian Furr, all of Wesson.

He is the grandson of Virginia Bond of Osyka, the late Charles Bond Sr. and Woodrow and Florine Etheridge.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Brookhaven Academy and a 2006 graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She is employed with Southern Diversified Technologies (SDT).

The prospective groom is a 1998 graduate of Amite School Center. He also attended Southwest Mississippi Community College and Mississippi State University. He is employed with the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) and is a licensed surveyor.

The couple will exchange vows during a private wedding ceremony to be held on Saturday, April 7, 2012, at Jolimar Summit.
