Graveside services for Edward Eugene Albritton of Chico, Calif. were 10 a.m. on Friday, April 26, at Glen Oaks Memorial Park in California.

Mr. Albritton, 71, died April 17, 2013 at his home. He was born in Brookhaven on April 19, 1941 to Thomas and Martha Albritton.

He was raised in Mississippi and in 1959, moved to Chico, Calif., where he met and married Marjorie Davis. Mr. Albritton served in the U.S. Army for 23 years.

His survivors include his three sons, Ernest, Alan and Thomas; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas; and sister, Joan.

Donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in care of the Brusie Funeral Home in Chico.
