Funeral services for Howard M. Case of Brookhaven are 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4, at Friendship Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home and Sunday form 1 until 2 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Case, 69, died Aug. 1, 2013 at Franklin County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Mississippi on June 23, 1944 to Felix M. Case and Grace S. Case.

He was a driller/toolpusher in the oilfield and a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one nephew, Ken Breck Case; and two nieces, Selina Case and Mary Dorcas Case.

Survivors are his wife, Debbie Lofton Case; son, Darren M. Case and wife, Shannan, of Brookhaven; brothers, the Rev. James A. Case and wife, Freda, of Brookhaven, and Dennis Case and wife, Nita Faye, of Baton Route, La.; six grandchildren, Chelsea M. Case, Skylar F. Case, Matthew Case, Hanna Grace Case, Cameron Buitt and Brandon Smith; and two great-grandchildren.
