Johnsons capture Jack & Jill scramble

Neil Johnson and Shirley Johnson saved par on the final hole andcelebrated a big victory at the Brookhaven Country Club. They edgedDon Coleman and Sharon Alexander by one stroke for championshiphonors in the First Flight of the Second Annual Jack & JillScramble Tournament. The Johnsons shot 63-62–125 while Coleman andAlexander bogeyed the final hole and finished 62-64–126.
Coleman and Alexander landed in the bunker alongside the 18thgreen after their fairway shots. Following their sand shot, theymissed the par putt on the 442-yard hole.
Noel and Mary Trusty shot 64-63–127 to finish third.
Sam and Pam Schisler shot 67-61–128 to win the Second Flight,shooting the low score of the tournament on Sunday. Ken and GailDossett shot 67-66–133 and finished second.
Third Flight laurels went to Dave and Becky Stritzel at70-68–138. One shot back was the team of Glynn and Janet Murray at70-71–141.
Fourth Flight honors went to Steve and Elease Jester at74-72–146. Second place went to Alan and Wendy Blue at77-71–148.
