Two people have been shot and suspects apprehended in McComb.

On Friday afternoon, the McComb Police Department and Pike County Sheriff’s Department SWAT team and gang unit responded to the shooting. Investigation identified possible suspects, who were then taken into custody in the White Acres community, and turned over to McComb PD’s investigation division.

Two victims have been identified, according to PCSO, but no names have been released at this time.

The McComb School District issued the following statement on Facebook. “Our hearts and prayers are with the members of our school family who have been affected by recent events.”
