Frozen: Lincoln County children enjoy snow day

BROOKHAVEN — All across the county the beaming grins of children filled with joy are out having fun in the snow. Temperatures are frigid and will drop back below freezing tonight so the snow should hang around.
We asked readers to share pictures of the snow day and they sure delivered. It is the first snow for some of the children in these photographs. The Daily Leader sincerely appreciates the support of our readers and everyone who submitted photos.
Snow flurries are forecast to continue until about 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon according to the National Weather Service.
