Regarding City Hall

Brookhaven Community,
It is with great pleasure to start renovating 101 W Chickasaw Street as our new Brookhaven City Hall. The Mayor, the City Alderman, City staff, engineers, architect and designer have been at work for over a year planning every phase of the building.
Our Historic Downtown is an inspiration to other small communities. We are authentic. We are alive. We are set up for long term success.
Being able to repurpose an existing central building that will serve the community is our goal. It will be a complete transformation. Having a large downtown parking lot, a new public board room with new media technology, security cameras and door access control, individual staff offices, and City Court to name a few.
Other benefits include: The Water Department offices and City Operations being located together and a Drive-Thru window for taking water payments to make it convenient for our elderly residents. And lastly, green space in the rear of the property where we can have safe downtown events away from the railroad tracks.
Brookhaven will be a stronger community as we work together. It is a privilege to be a part of the process. Thank You.
John Lynch,
Brookhaven
