Showers likely Christmas afternoon

BROOKHAVEN — The National Weather Service forecasts great weather for Santa Claus to deliver presents tonight. Lincoln County residents may have to open an umbrella on Christmas Day.

The chance of rain Wednesday is 60 percent, with a slight chance of  showers before 10am and then likely chance after 12pm.  Temperatures will be in the 60s.

Rain chances will drop to 20 percent Thursday before building back up Friday to 60 percent. There is a chance for thunderstorms Friday into Saturday when the chance of rain is 70 percent.
