LOYD STAR — A driver was injured Wednesday afternoon after their vehicle overturned on California Road NW in Lincoln County. The wreck occurred around 12:35 p.m.

Brookhaven Fire Department was dispatched to the wreck with reports of entrapment. On scene, Brookhaven firefighters extricated the victim from the vehicle with help from Lincoln County Sheriff Deputies.

The female victim was taken to Kings Daughters Medical Center by ambulance. Her condition is unknown at this time. A deputy worked to console one of the victim’s relatives at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
