BROOKHAVEN — Three schools and a restaurant aced their recent health inspection. The Mississippi Department of Health publishes restaurant inspections in an online database. 

C.H. Lipsey Middle School earned an “A” rating for the 18th straight time since 2013. Lipsey is in the Brookhaven School District. 

Mamie Martin Elementary School, also in the Brookhaven School District, earned an “A” rating for the 18th straight time since 2013. 

Fannie Mullins School, in the Brookhaven School District, earned an “A” rating for the fourth straight time since 2022 and 13th “A” rating. 

Not all of the establishments receiving inspection grades this past week were school cafeterias. 

Brookhaven Enterprises, which is really known as Mississippi Wangz and Thangz, earned an “A” rating for the eighth straight time since 2020. Wangz and Thangz is located at 602 South First Street in Brookhaven.
