Betty Lynn Walker, 67, born Betty Lynn Smith on March 17, 1957, to Gaddis “Elton” and Nancy Jackson Smith, passed from her earthly life on September 13, 2024, at Silver Cross Nursing Home in Brookhaven, Mississippi.

Ms. Walker was preceded in death by her grandparents, John Wiley Smith and Gladdis Turnage Smith; her parents, Elton and Nancy Smith; and one granddaughter, Arianna Hollingsworth.

She is survived by her sister, Susie Alonzo; two brothers, John Curtis Smith, wife Anita, and Heath “Dynamite” Smith, all of Brookhaven; boyfriend, Robert Hooker of Silver Creek; two daughters, Amanda Archer, husband Curtis of Hattiesburg, and Julie Jones, husband Randy of Brookhaven.

She has 8 grandchildren, Sierra and Ethan Autrey; Amanda Leigh, Ashley and Destiney Archer; Randy, Lilly and Gracie Jones; and one great-grandchild, Draven King.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Holly Springs Baptist Church in Brookhaven, MS, at 12 p.m.
