Vicki A. Vaughn, age 76, of Carriere, MS, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024. Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 7 p.m. a McDonald Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home. Arrangements under the care of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Brookhaven, MS, she was a retired teacher with the Picayune School District where she served as a principal at Roseland Park Elementary School. Vicki was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, as well as a member of First Baptist Church of Picayune.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas I. Vaughn; parents, Raymond Derrick and Louise Smith Lynn; daughter, Veronica V. McNew.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jason T. Vaughn and wife, Karla; son-in-law, Trigg McNew; grandchildren, Morgan O’Brien and Lane O’Brien; great-granddaughter, Luxyn O’Brien; numerous family members, and dear friends.
