LOYD STAR — Readers asked about men working as third-party salesmen for Direct TV roaming door-to-door across Lincoln County this week. Lincoln County Sheriff Steve Rushing said residents do not have to let the men into their homes. 

Posts in neighborhood watch groups on Facebook warned of the third party salesmen in Copiah and Lincoln County. Copiah County Sheriff’s Office advised people to call and report. 

Rushing said so far the men have not committed any crimes but there are several calls about the men reported. 

“They are just going door-to-door. We do ask people to please call us,” Rushing said. “We would like to have a conversation with them.”
