Other seats up for election

In the Lincoln County Primary Election in March this year, the offices of U.S. President, U.S. Senate, and U.S. House of Representatives (3rd Congressional District) were on the ballot.

Democrat voters were presented with a singular choice for President (incumbent Joe Biden) and Senator (newcomer Ty Pinkins). Republicans had a single option for Representative in incumbent Michael Guest, and one for President in former president Donald Trump, although his former challengers were still listed on the ballot. Three options were presented for Senator, among them incumbent Roger F. Wicker, who secured the Primary for a spot against Pinkins in the fall.

Deadline to register to vote in the General Election is Monday, Oct. 7. Voter registration forms, ward and district maps, and information on where to vote can all be found in the Circuit Clerk’s Office or at www.dustinbairfield.com.
