BROOKHAVEN — New businesses are opening in Lincoln County. One is an event venue and the other will be a restaurant. 

David Kelly Properties is the new owner of an event venue and property at 211 Railroad St. According to a business Facebook page for Pearlhaven Cafe and Event Center, the space opened Sunday. 

Posts on the page indicate it is an event venue for family or business functions. The center has a website at Pearlhaveneventcenter.com. 

 

Restaurant opens

It appears a new owner will re-open a restaurant at Enterprise Drive-In. Located just south of Enterprise Attendance Center on MS-583, the restaurant closed at the end of May. Katy East said the reason they closed was to spend time with their family. 

She hinted then it was possible for someone to buy the business. The Mississippi Department of Health issued a new construction health permit for the restaurant.
