Co-Lin graduates 11th class of Certified Clinical Medical Assistant program

Copiah-Lincoln Community College Workforce Education Division recently announced the graduation of five students from the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) non-credit training program. Ta’Kyla Brothern, Malorie Carlisle, Evonnie Owens, Ineisha Pendleton, and Chiquita Rancifer successfully completed the program, demonstrating outstanding dedication and skills proficiency.

During the intensive six-month CCMA program, conducted at the Wesson Campus, participants acquired a comprehensive skill set including medical terminology, pharmacology, anatomy and physiology, infection control, patient care coordination, and medical law and ethics. Hands-on learning experiences, including computer lab studies and clinical rotations, further prepared them to excel in medical assisting roles.
