ENTERPRISE — Another community restaurant announced plans to close this week. Enterprise Drive-In owner Katy East clarified the news the business had shared on social media. 

Enterprise Drive-In is not just closing for the summer on May 31, it could be closing for good. East said they have a few potential buyers for the restaurant but unless someone buys it it will close. 

“It will be sad if no one buys it. It has been a part of the community for years,” East said. 

Enterprise Drive-In is located at 1643 MS-583 SE just south of Enterprise Attendance Center. The business will cease operations at 8 p.m. May 31. 

A public announcement on social media thanked customers for their business and support throughout the years. The reason for the closing was more personal than business. 

“I have five kids and it has gotten to be a bit much to handle,” East said. “We bought it three years ago but it has been here for about 26 years. My aunt Sharon Fugler is the original owner.”
