Brookhaven residents should note that due to the holidays of Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, the household garbage pickup schedule  will run one day behind for the weeks of Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. Monday pickup will be on Tuesday, Tuesday on Wednesday, Wednesday on Thursday, Thursday on Friday, and Friday on Saturday.

Carts should be placed at the street the night before scheduled pickup. ADSI requests that residents break down boxes and place them beside the carts.

Extra bagged household garbage during the holiday season can be deposited in dumpsters marked “City of Brookhaven” and placed at the following locations beginning late Friday, Dec. 22, until early Tuesday, Dec. 26.
