MT. ZION — If you get out and look to the east you will see a blue moon, second full moon of the month, rising across the sky. The super blue moon is close to the earth’s orbit and will not happen again until 2037.

Enjoy these pictures taken from a field along the Bayou Pierre in Lincoln County Wednesday night. Looks like some Yaupon Holly got in the way of some pictures and in another the moon rises just over some sweet gum saplings.
